What did we learn form history?

Wed Jun 4, 2008, 9:25 AM
Let's look at antiquity. The image of nude man is everywhere. Torso de Hombre what I call but probably Corpo di Uomo what was called in Italy. So what did change, why instead of men we accept the concept of beauty from females? Did something go wrong with Romans, or what we are seeing is the wrong one?

So any suggestion or favorites help me to find out the reason of this opposition.

You will see some of nude male figures in my gallery. Some of them wear only sneakers. It may seems I'm a shoe fetishist but the truth is:
Apollo Citharoedus ("Apollo with a kithara")

My point is gods or goddess even humans were seen with only one material. Since I couldn't find any kithara or spear. Sneakers were the best thing I imagine.

Imagination was given to man to compensate him for what he is not; a sense of humor to console him for what he is.
